Announcing…
The Artist Legal Cafe
A cross-sector collaboration between Movement Law,
the Sustainable Economies Law Center, and Vital Arts,
the Artist Legal Cafe is an artist-led initiative
that offers direct services and capacity-building support
to individual artists, artist collectives, and arts organizations.
Each monthly Cafe kicks off with a 30-minute “nano-training”
followed by 1:1 support with licensed attorneys on a range of topics.
The ALC is generously supported by the Kenneth Rainin Foundation,
the Zellerbach Family Foundation, the Gerbode Foundation,
Bay Area Cultural Funders for Equity, the Hewlett Foundation, and the City of Oakland.
